On 22th july 2022, in a visit to Mr. Amanya silva,s coffee farm found in Itwara village ,katambale parish ,kigoyera sub county and it was found out that there are several deep trenches in his coffee garden that hold water in the soil . This has enabled the quick growth of coffee thus leading to better quality and quantity of coffee produces due to fertility of the soil.
